A Letter to one who hopes.

This a letter to one who needed encouragement:

Hello XXXXX,
I am always glad to hear from you, i am encouraged by all the things you write about his new
life you have begun in Jesus Christ. But there is one thing i haven't heard you mention yet,
your friendship with other believers (Christians), i pray that you will not be so solitary,
because talking and telling others what Jesus has done for you will establish your faith, making
your heart know how much God really loves you. This is why i am writing you, i want you to
be able to share this letter with as many as will read it or listen, for it also affirms what God is
asking me by His Spirit to do, that will bless my experience with Jesus.
There some things that i want you, and all of the inmates there within the prison, to know,
how much God loves us. John 3:16-17 best says it one sentence􀂴For God so Loved the world
that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have
everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that
the world through Him might be saved.􀂴
This is the Good News, that with Jesus and what He did will set our lives straight with God,
you not only get this free, for this is God's gift to us, but you will never can earn it, no, no one
will be 􀂳good􀂴, everyone of us will make mistakes, will do things just as we used to, but the
Good News is Jesus already paid the price of our sins. Yes you all have heard that He died for
our sin(s), but now that He is sitting at the right hand of God, He is always interceding for us,
being our attorney before God pleading our case, and He is faithful to forgive us when we ask.
Keeping the fellowship(friendship)with God the Father open. When your pissed at a friend the
two of you will not speak or you will argue, that friendship is broken until we admit guilt and
forgive each other, it is the same with God but He never stops our friendship with Him it is us
that breaks it. Thank God for Jesus, we can right away confess that sin (those are the things
we know God doesn't like) and He is Just to forgive us. There is no penalty to be paid, no
fines, no acts that will make us earn it, but it's done by grace, God's love for us, unearned by
us, but given freely through Christ who died to earn for us the forgiveness that is given to us
by God. Boy isn't that Good News! But even all this, God was not done with us. He wants us
to live our lives for Him. ugh-h! i used to think, now here's the hard part! no that is a lie!
Because God isn't ignorant he knows us, He knows how hard these can be to do, so God
didn't leave us hanging, He sent the Holy Spirit, to give us the right heart, the attitude of
loving God that makes living for Him so easy, got it, EASY! not hard, not in any
condemnation, because we all were condemned before we even knew Jesus, now that we
believe, God's loves has not changed for us, sure there's things he wants to change, but He
waited this long for us just to believe in Jesus, His patience(love) has not ran out.
Not only did He send His Spirit to live in our hearts, God sent Him to to many things not
possible on our own. He sent the Holy Spirit to equip us for living here on earth, with sin and
Satan all around us, God has made us to be winners for His own sake.
Most of the time we have heard about Jesus, seen that those who accept Him, often slip
back into the life they once had, or they struggle with the temptations that they don't really
want, or ones they really want but know that God got a better deal for you.
That is exactly why He sent the Spirit of God (Holy Spirit)to live in us, to talk directly to our
hearts(spirit)so that we would know His voice and He could tell us the best for lives. He gave
us His Spirit so we could and would talk to Him in the language of angels(talking in tongues)
because it builds our spirit up and shows us things in our lives that we need to know, about
ourselves, our family, our friends and just communicate with God.
He also gives spiritual gifts, that help build the Body of Christ(church)so that every need is
met. This why we gather together to worship God so that the Spirit can work in us and
through us to build the church into the prefect Bride of Christ.
Just like our own bodies , we have many parts each one does something to give us the whole
experience of life, ears to hear, eyes to see, nose to smell, tongue to taste, hearts to pump
blood, livers to clean the blood, and so on. There's also many unseen parts that help our bodies
function well, some you guess without me naming them because they get rid waste in our
bodies, lol. there are some we don't know about, but they are there and without them we
could easily die, ask to doctor or nurse they can tell you. So it is with the Body of
Christ(church)many parts each with something to contribute, some that are very noticeable and
others that are not so apparent. My God doesn't waste anything, all of us has a purpose here,
and finding that out is what we can do with the help of the Holy Spirit working in us.
Some of you might say, how can i receive the Spirit? Just by asking and believing, because
Jesus has already promised that once He left for heaven that He would send the Holy Spirit to
us.
John 16:5 KJV - But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me,
Whither goest thou?
John 16:6 KJV - But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.
John 16:7 KJV - Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if
I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
John 16:8 KJV - And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness,
and of judgment:
John 16:9 KJV - Of sin, because they believe not on me;
John 16:10 KJV - Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
John 16:11 KJV - Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
John 16:12 KJV - I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
John 16:13 KJV - Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all
truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and
he will shew you things to come.
John 16:14 KJV - He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew [it] unto
you.
John 16:15 KJV - All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take
of mine, and shall shew [it] unto you.
At any time, place, wherever you are, whoever you are the Spirit is ready for you, just pray a
simple pray(or just talk, that's how i see it, cause prayer makes me think some great spoken
words with thee's and thou's and it just not me cause i just want to be honest before God, after
all He can see our true meanings of our hearts), this prayer,
Thank you Lord Jesus, for making your sacrifice on the cross for me and paying the final
price for sin in my life, Thank you for sending your Holy Spirit to come and live in me, I invite
you Holy Spirit, come live in me, fill me, comfort me , teach me and impart to me the spiritual
gifts that God wants me to have. Thank you Holy Spirit for showing yourself to me in a way
that i can not deny you or the power you have for me to live a life for Jesus.
So lighten up, be happy and joyful. All we need has already been put into our hearts and
hands to live a life in right relationship with our Lord Jesus.
I am ready for a happy party right now! God has set us free!
John 8:32 KJV - And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 8:36 KJV - If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
I have wrote these things to you XXXXX that you will be blessed and you fellowship with
the other saints(yes that's right! saint XXXXX, i like, how about you? it just means the ones
saved by the grace of God) and seek Jesus together. Oh, i know how we as people can look
around and say 􀂳oh, not that person or not that person!􀂴 But know that God has loved us all,
even the worst of us and forgave us, so that we can fellowship with God. All of us equally
loved by God the Father, God the Son(Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit.
Pass this letter around let no one not have the opportunity to read it or hear about
because God has great things planned ahead for you.

i think this will be my new title for the sunday worship,because it is all about Him.
this week we ended an all too short series called consumed(and yes i didn't post anything last week,shame on me).that's because this is probably one message series that as a christian, defines our very lives,whose we are and why we are.all i really mean is that worship of the Jesus the Son,and God the Father are such a force in our lives that i wonder why i just not always in a state of worship,but then from Pastor Paul came a rewarding and enlighting message last week august 10,2008.we are always in a state of worship as we live a life that honors Jesus,and really even that means when we're as human as anyone else,we do shine before the world because we can express what it means to be forgiven.
Paul has shown us the importance of worship, who we should worship and how we need to worship.
and today was a completion of(let me mention it again, the all too short) series "consumed" and the world renown, pastor jesse.jesse i really mean you're as laid back as joel osteen is,you have a real gift of relaxing us right into the truth of God's word.yet today there was an excitement as the meaning of worship was being pictured not only in our lives but in your life of music.
thank you jesse, i am always love it when you're on the podium.
i only regret is that the worship service wasn't last,because i was charged up for one.yet there was made by the Spirit to me a way,i know that there were others back in the second service and the presence of the Spirit was so moving that it became a worship time after jesse's message.

Sunday@Life Pointe

What a peculiar Jesus we have,one wouldn't have thought that the sunday service could or would begin at 11pm saturday. Of course it was time to end the day and lay down for the night and sleep yet,here i lay thinking of a old children's pray,now i lay me down to sleep.... . what's this really about? am i worried about my soul, no, my confidence is in He who promised that my soul was his to keep,about not awakening in the morning?not! even if it so,it's well with me now at this very moment. we can take this up later ok.
beep,beep beep goes the alarm it's 6am, i get up feeling rested,then i think oh wow i actually slept 7 hours straight through.ty Jesus (i really didn't realize that today Pastor Trav was going to deal anxiety).
off to the coffee pot,i still need my morning eye opener,so there i am standing in kitchen just waiting for the coffee maker to finish,when my daughter Esther wanders in, eyes half shut,she mutters,"what am you doing here,aren't you late for work or are you going in late",i said "no i not late and yea i am going to work(i know it's sunday and my real job awaits me) late"(well later than the usual and i thinking yea, now that is a job i could do 24/7).so i gave her another then she figured out it wasn't monday :-)
ok, coffee in hand, off to read a few blogs,see whats up,... oh crud!6:40 get r in gear boy, you are gonna be late!
7:3? i am here at Life Pointe,everyone is in full swing,Chris is vacuuming the carpet,carts are all out,Richie is busy with the booth and of course Anne is busy putting it all together.
ok, grab the flags,they are a priority,then its like off to the races,whoosh goes the time,somewhere in between i look up and i am thinking "where did all these people come from? ty Jesus.
8:46 everything looks gtg(good to go)but i stumbling with the software on the laptop for the booth,i look for Paul..."Paul,help me..." gtg.i mean if i am anxious on any given sunday today is a good example.
The worship was as outstanding as the Spirit of God could ever make it.(besides any thing else for me to add would not do justice to what He was doing here today,there was a flow from Him and i knew He was doing incredible things in the hearts of His people and me).
Then the real bomb drops,todays teaching,sermon,message anxiety in our lives,just so i don't mess with what the Spirit wants to say to the Church,check it out here,
