dead white guys

it's exciting to sort of preview what's coming this sunday,i am never quite sure how Travis is going to present the latest "dead white guy" to us.
so i hit the wikipedia trail (it's like being in the woods with so many trails you can get lost fairly easily) to check him out,Charles Spurgeon.
the most amazing to me was the simplest to learn of yet it has become one of the most widely used tool in bring the Good News to people around the globe.
so check this out, it is awesome!!

this is where you can read what these three colors are about!

when i open my mouth.........

this is short but,definitely to the point, a brief conversation at work today went this way;
1st guy: (sorry but my Spanish was not so good looking today) something, something, about a lot of money of mine.
me: well my Father (pointing upward)owns the cattle on a thousand hills!
1st gal: well i could use a bunch of those.
me:yea but,it seems we only get one hamburger at a time.
1st gal: well thank you Jesus!

so i walked to the room i work in(also known as the "dungeon") and as i started to work again He said to me "and all you ever ask for are band aids in your prayers about your life"
it is so true, i just back away from asking those bold prayers that Travis was preaching/sharing about on sunday.

until next time, peace and love to all.
because that is what Jesus came to give to everyone no matter who you are.

Son Day @Life Pointe

so dudes, grab yer boards and catch the wave. this is the finale for this years lessons that God has been leading us up to. from the "recovering hypocrite" to being "fully engaged"and back for some basics of "simply Jesus"after which we find a "fortune cookie"to getting rid of our junk in "got funk" so that we could get "loaded" for the kingdom. after which we were trained in "the art of war" and a rather reluctant "jonah" (not to be confused with our own fish tales). to cap it off with bill wilson's "just do it" attitude. so if you don't see the wave building up now you might need to wait for next one that will promise you the ride of your life.
so start paddling (takes a step of action here,ok) because God is about to do some great stuff here soon!
